Since 2003, Upper Loudoun Little League has proudly awarded an annual scholarship to a graduating senior from western Loudoun County who previously played baseball in ULLL.
Youth sports require countless hours of volunteer dedication. Through that commitment, children not only develop athletic skills, but more importantly, they learn teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
As a league, our hope is that every child who passes through our program leaves inspired to give back to their community. Active citizenship and volunteerism are essential to building a strong and vibrant community — and this scholarship recognizes those who embody that spirit.
To qualify for the ULLL Hometown Heroes Scholarship, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
