A Heartfelt Thanks from the entire Hanvey Family: Words cannot begin to express the way that we want to say "Thank You" to everyone. We did feel that it was necessary to reach out to send a thank you to our friends and community for the outpouring that you've offered during our time of tragedy. It's hard to believe that it's been half a year since we lost our house and all of our belongings in the fire. In that six month timeframe, we've taken some time to reflect on what we lost, but most importantly, have looked to the future of rebuilding back in Hillsboro. What we've endured has been overwhelming, but the continual support and hugs from everyone has been even more overwhelming to our entire family. We really don't know what we would have done and continue to do without so many helping hands reaching out to us. That more than anything has helped us keep a positive attitude in moving forward and has helped put us back on our feet into a somewhat normal routine. Losing everything is definitely never one of those things that you imagine happening to you and we hope that no one ever has to go through it. Thanks to so many of you for offering essential items of clothes & toiletries, gift cards, those who have dug in and lent a helping hand to help sift through and find any hope of any remains of 9 years of memories and those who assisted with kitchen accessories, beds and accessories and other items that were needed when we were out on our own. That was the time that we truly realized some of those everyday items that we all take for granted. And of course, a big thanks to the Thatcher family for taking us into their home for longer than we ever expected. We can never repay you enough for your kindness and generosity and making us feel a part of your family. Thanks to everyone as we continue to go through this rebuilding process and we're looking forward to a bright 2010. With Love and Thanks, |
